Princeton CryoTech is a leading national distributor for GFG Instrumentation, a leading gas detection equipment manufacturer for both portable and fixed systems.
Oxygen monitoring is absolutely necessary whenever cryogenic fluids are present. Cryogenic liquids can expand up to 700 times their volume when they change from liquid to gas, which effectively replaces ambient oxygen, quickly creating an oxygen deficient environment. Normal air contains 20.9% oxygen; OSHA considers levels at and below 19.5% oxygen to be dangerous.
Whether you are working with cryogenic fluids, or other hazardous gases, Princeton Cryotech and GFG covers all gas monitoring applications, in both fixed and portable systems.
Stand-alone wall mounted units, and fully customizable systems for every application
It offers a local display, a horn / stobe, and a linear 4-20 mA output. The Dynagard 25 Series is a safe and reliable gas warning system.
Each alarm point can be adjusted separately. The alarm point values can be freely adjusted within the detection range of the transmitter. The controller provides four voltage-free relays for the three alarms and one fault warning. The relays can prompt specific counter measures to prevent or limit dangers from gases or vapors.
For O2, the ZD 21 zirconia sensor technology in the Dynagard 25 Series O2 has an impressive response to an oxygen deficiency in less than two seconds. This extremely short response time allows the user the time to take measures to prevent considerable damage.
For CO2, the Dynagard 25 Series CO2 uses the IR 24 detection technology. The NDIR method used in the GfG sensor can measure the carbon dioxide concentration precisely and reliably.
The 25 series control panel may be connected to any available GfG transmitter for detection of oxygen (O2), combustible gases (LEL) or any transmitter from a wide range of toxic gases. The 25 Series has a compact design, push button operation, easy installation and a rugged metal housing.
There are three user-adjustable alarm hysteresis, four relays and the factory configured alarm functions include latching/non-latching, resettable/non-resettable, time delay and rapid rise alarm for combustible setups. Each alarm can be adjusted separately and the alarm values can be freely adjusted within the detection range.
The controller provides four voltage-free relays for the three alarms and one fault warning. The relays may be used to control additional alarm devices like lights or horns.
Control panels may be configured with up to 16 channels of monitoring. At the heart of the 4000 series panels is an array of up to four highly configurable GMA 40 mini controllers. Each GMA 40 may be configured to one of any available GfG gas transmitters.
Each GMA 40 series controller features a numeric display for direct reading of gas concentrations or values from the transmitters connected. The three alarms in each mini control module can be adjusted separately and the alarm points may be set to any value within the detection range and are field adjustable. Each alarm function may also be programmed to be latching or non-latching, and resettable/non-resettable.
The 4000 series controller is equipped with a combination horn and strobe. The loud horn makes it ideal for environments where background noise may be present.
The expected lifetime of the sensor is five years in continuous operation. A robust aluminum casing protects the sensor and the circuitry from impacts, splashed water, and dirt. The ZD 21 is an “intelligent” transmitter. The comprehensive electronics allow for easy operation and maintenance and also increase operational safety and accuracy. In less than two seconds the ZD 21 responds to an oxygen deficiency. This extremely short response time allows the time to take measures to prevent considerable damage.
Then a GfG 22 series transmitter is the right choice.
The CC 22 works according to the heat of reaction principle, a proven method for measuring combustible gases. The transmitters are fitted with high-performance electronics for voltage stabilization, processing of readings, and temperature compensation. Follow-up costs are minimized thanks to the long lifespan of the sensors.
The embedded software of the CC 22 linearizes the measuring signal and compensates for the effects of temperature. As a result, correct readings are transmitted even with weather related fluctuations in temperature.
The CC 22 is available with a display or without display. The clear graphic display of the CC 22 is self explanatory and allows you to read off the current status and other important information with ease. The display enables you to navigate effortlessly through the unit’s concise menu and to change settings or even calibrate, depending on your user authorization. In the event of an alarm, the display will turn red.
This smart area monitor has an aluminum explosion proof housing with a stainless steel sensor cover that makes the EC 30 series suitable for the harshest environments.

The G400 MP-2 smart pump for the G450 and G460 gas monitors is the only detachable pump on the market today which will allow for operation in both diffusion mode and remote sample-draw mode. Another unique feature is the G400 MP-2 is operated by its own power supply, independent of the gas detector, which allows for up to 10 hours of continuous operation. Gas samples can be taken from a distance of over 300 feet at a typical draw rate of 0.5 liters per minute. It features a highly efficient redundant filter system in addition to a standard external probe with dust and hydrophobic filters. The G400 MP-2 continuously communicates with the G450 / G460 gas detector. This interaction allows fault indication via the detectors display and activate a visual, audible and vibration alarm on the monitor.
Bump tests or calibrations can only be effective for Micro IV detectors for the same gas and detection ranges. The following parameters are checked during the bump test: time and date, audible alarm, visual LED alarm, response time of sensor, response sensitivity, detector fault and time interval setting for the next bump test (e.g. 14 days). The test results are similar to a traffic light signal for each detector in the docking station. A red LED indicates the detector failed, yellow indicates the test is running and a green LED indicates the detector passed.
Simply press the red button to switch the docking station over to calibration mode and it will start up automatically. Again, the results are shown using the red, yellow and green LED indicators.
The DS220 docking station is simple to operate and allows multiple detectors to be bump tested and calibrated simultaneously.
